CPMS stands for Chronic Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. This is an out of date term used to describe all progressive forms of multiple sclerosis. It has now been replaced by Primary Progressive (PPMS), Secondary Progressive (SPMS) and Progressive Relapsing (PRMS) Multiple Sclerosis.
